Fender's Vibro Champ-Amp was introduced in 1964 as part of the redesigned 'BlackFace' era amplifiers, utilizing a Class A amplifier with 12ax7 preamp tube and 6v6 power tube making about 6 watts with a tube driven (12ax7) tremolo circuit. The cabinets were solid finger jointed Pine with an 8" speaker. In 1968, Fender updated the cosmetics including Aluminum trim around the grill cloth and the Silver\Blue faceplate.
