VINTAGE: VICTORIAN Mother & Daughter Doll Set: This is an original issue of Sandra Kuck's "Precious Memories of Motherhood" collection, the very first doll series based on designs by artist Sandra Kuck. The edition was limited in production to the year of issue - in this case, 1989. *This beautiful pair was delivered to my (now deceased) mother in 1989, in their original packing and shipping boxes. 380E is the model number inscribed with Sandra Kuck's signature on the back of the Mother doll. Mother and baby are both porcelain with soft body. Mother is approx 17" high; baby approx. 8" high. I believe the eyes and features are hand painted on porcelain. Both dolls and their original boxes remain in EXCELLENT CONDITION. *The list price in 1989 was $149. *Sandra Kuck is a widely acclaimed artist in the limited edition field. Her mastery of Victorian subjects has earned her a wide following amongst collectors.
